Hi Darasimi. Fulbright does not work as an intake you apply into directly. You apply through the Fulbright commission or US embassy in your own country, normally about a year before you would start, and if you are selected the programme places you at a US university — so there is no September application to make. On fees: Fulbright country offices do not normally charge to apply, and if you win the award your tuition is covered. You would still meet your own costs for documents, any required tests and the visa. Check the current cycle's dates on your country's page at foreign.fulbrightonline.org.

Yes. Fulbright Foreign Student awards are fully funded — tuition, a living stipend, travel to and from the United States and health cover are normally all included, with the exact package set by the Fulbright commission in your country. The award covers graduate study and research only, so you need a completed bachelor's degree to apply for the master's route. Your country's page at foreign.fulbrightonline.org lists what its own award includes.

Fulbright Foreign Student is the US government's fully funded programme for graduate study — a master's or a PhD — and for research. The package normally covers tuition, a living stipend, return airfare and health cover, though the exact contents are set by the Fulbright office in your own country. The part people miss: you do not apply to a US university. You apply through the Fulbright commission or US embassy in your home country, usually about a year before you would start, and the programme places you. Open your country's page at foreign.fulbrightonline.org. If you tell us your country and your field here, we can point you at the right office.

No. The Fulbright Foreign Student Program funds graduate study only — master's and doctoral degrees, plus research and some professional training. There is no undergraduate award under this programme. If you are looking for undergraduate funding, university-run awards are the realistic route. Fulbright applications are handled by the Fulbright commission or the US embassy in your own country, and the list is at foreign.fulbrightonline.org.
