Scholarships from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for international students, including Indians.
The Italian Government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), offers scholarships to international students and Italian citizens living abroad to study Master's degrees, PhDs, AFAM (arts/music) courses and Italian-language courses at Italian institutions. India is among the eligible countries with an annual quota.
Eligibility
- Citizen of an eligible country (India is included)
- Meet the age limits for the relevant course type
- Applying for an eligible Master's, PhD, AFAM or research programme in Italy
- Meet the language requirement (Italian or English as specified)
Benefits

How to apply
- Apply through the MAECI 'Study in Italy' scholarships portal within the annual window.
- Select your course type and institution.
- Upload academic documents and language certificates.
- Await the selection results published by MAECI.
