Holland Scholarship for International Students by Nuffic Neso India — Partial funding scholarship for Indian students

Overview

A grant funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education and participating universities for non-EU students, including Indians.

The Holland Scholarship is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science together with several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. It supports international students from outside the European Economic Area — including India — starting a Bachelor's or Master's in the Netherlands.

Eligibility

  • Non-EEA nationality (Indian students qualify)
  • Applying for, or admitted to, a full-time Bachelor's or Master's at a participating Dutch institution
  • Meet the specific institution's requirements
  • Not previously studied in the Netherlands

Benefits

  • ��5,000 in the first year of study
  • Awarded as a one-time grant (not a full-fee scholarship)
  • Can be combined with other funding where allowed

How to apply

  • Choose a participating Dutch university and eligible programme.
  • Apply for admission to that programme.
  • Apply for the Holland Scholarship via the university's own process and deadline.
  • Submit the documents the university requests.
