Overview

The Vice Chancellors Future Leaders Award at the University of Surrey 2027 is offered by the University of Surrey. It provides a GBP 7,500 tuition fee waiver for selected students. The award is available for Bachelors and Masters degrees. It is open to selected nationals who are overseas fee-paying students and hold an offer for a full-time Bachelors or Masters at the University of Surrey. Eligibility

Must be an overseas fee-paying student.
Must hold an offer for a full-time Bachelors (Level 4 entry) or full-time Masters degree at the University of Surrey.
Must be domiciled in one of the following countries: Algeria, Brazil, Botswana, Bulgaria, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Peru, Poland, Portugal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam, or Zimbabwe.
Undergraduate applicants must list Surrey as their firm choice on UCAS.
Must be self-funded (not sponsored and not receiving other scholarships).
Must apply before the CAS is issued.
Award cannot be deferred; those deferring must reapply, subject to availability.
Only available to new applicants who meet all eligibility requirements and complete the application process before receiving their CAS.

Benefits

GBP 7,500 as a tuition fee waiver.
For both undergraduate and two-year postgraduate programmes, the scholarship is valid only for the first year of study.
Recipients cannot receive any other Surrey scholarship.

How to apply

Hold an offer from the University of Surrey.
Provide a valid student ID for the scholarship application to be assessed.
Submit the scholarship application before the CAS is issued.
