The Honourable John Muir QC Scholarship at the University of Queensland (UQ) is a partial funding award for Bachelors students in Law. Established in 2019 by Sandra Muir under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative, it is maintained by income from an endowment fund and honours distinguished alumnus The Honourable John Muir QC. The scholarship provides a value equal to the annual income from the endowment. Eligibility is open to domestic students in Australia who demonstrate financial need or hardship and are enrolled or intending to enrol full-time in the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) or a dual degree including it. Applicants must not hold another similar scholarship as deemed by the Dean of Law. Applications are submitted via a form to the university, with selection based on academic achievement, financial need, and leadership, cultural, sporting, or community service achievements.
