Overview

The International Excellence Scholarships (Rest of the world) at Swansea University 2027 are offered by Swansea University to support international students who have demonstrated academic excellence or show potential for academic success. These partial scholarships provide up to GBP 7,000 and are available for Bachelors and Masters degrees in selected subjects at Swansea University. The award is open to students from all countries except the UK. To be eligible, applicants must be classified as overseas fee payers, have a conditional or unconditional offer for a full-time, on-campus course at Swansea University for 2026/27, and be self-funded. UG-PG progression students and alumni are also eligible. Interested applicants must apply through the university scholarship website to be considered.

Eligibility

Must be classified as overseas fee payers.
Must have an offer (conditional or unconditional) to study at Undergraduate or Master’s level at Swansea University for 2026/27.
Must be applying for a full-time, on-campus course.
Must be self-funded (not sponsored by government or third-party organizations).
Must demonstrate academic excellence and show potential contribution to Swansea in the application.
UG–PG progression students and alumni are eligible to apply.

Benefits

Up to £5,000 for the first year of study.
Undergraduates who achieve 70%+ in Year 1 may receive an extra £2,000 in Year 2.
Postgraduates: Scholarship applies to first year only.
Cannot be used for any purpose other than tuition fee reduction.
Combined scholarship funding from Swansea University cannot exceed £7,000.
