Overview

The International Creative Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship at Massey University is offered by Massey University for international students. It provides partial funding of up to NZD 5,000 for the first year of an eligible Bachelors degree at the College of Creative Arts. Eligible applicants must be new international students enrolling full-time in Semester 1 (February) 2027 in Commercial Music, Fine Arts, Screen Arts, or Design. They must demonstrate creative excellence through a portfolio. The scholarship is open to Indian students and others except New Zealand nationals. Applications are submitted with a digital portfolio and a written statement.

Prepare a digital portfolio of creative work demonstrating creative potential and commitment.
Submit the portfolio as a PDF document. Links to platforms such as Vimeo, YouTube, itch.io, ArtStation, or portfolio websites may be included.
Do not use social media links such as TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook as portfolio submissions.
Submit a short written statement of approximately 300 words describing creative purpose.
