Overview

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) is offered by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong. It provides partial funding for PhD studies at Hong Kong universities, with an annual stipend of HKD 344,400 and a travel allowance of HKD 14,400 per year for up to three years. The scheme is open to Indian students and all other nationalities. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic performance, research ability, communication, and interpersonal skills. They must be enrolled as full-time PhD students at one of the participating universities, including HKUST, Lingnan University, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Applications are submitted online, and shortlisted candidates are interviewed by selection panels.

Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic performance, research ability, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Applicants must be enrolled as full-time PhD students at one of the following universities: City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, Lingnan University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Education University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, or The University of Hong Kong.
