Overview

The Dimiter Etimov Endowed Scholarship is offered by the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT Chicago) to support Bulgarian students pursuing a non-thesis master's degree. The scholarship covers tuition for up to three consecutive academic semesters, and may also cover room and board in double-occupancy campus accommodation, subject to availability and annual funding review. To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of Bulgaria and not residents or citizens of any other country, and must have graduated from an accredited high school and university in Bulgaria. They must be preselected and nominated by their school or university, with only one nomination allowed per institution per year, and provide a nomination letter from a professor and a letter from a Bulgarian company interested in hiring them. Eligibility

Must be a citizen of Bulgaria and not a resident or citizen of any other country.
Must have graduated from an accredited high school and university in Bulgaria.
Must be preselected and nominated by their school or university; each school or university may nominate only one student per year.
Must provide a nomination letter from a professor at the current university.
Must provide a letter from a Bulgarian company interested in hiring the applicant based on the skills gained through the program.

Benefits

Covers tuition for a maximum of three consecutive academic semesters.
