The Centrally Sponsored Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for ST Students - Ladakh 2026 is offered by the Government of India. It provides partial funding of up to INR 1,200 per month as a maintenance allowance for eligible students. This scholarship is open to Indian students who are domiciles of Ladakh, belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) community, and are studying at the post-matriculation level. Eligibility

Must be an Indian citizen.
Must be a domicile of Ladakh.
Must belong to the Scheduled Tribes (ST) community.
Must be studying at the post-matriculation level in a recognized institution.
Must have passed matriculation or higher secondary or any higher examination from a recognized university or Board of Secondary Education.
Annual parental/guardian income must not exceed INR 2,00,000.
Must not be receiving benefits under any other scholarship or stipend.

Benefits

Monthly maintenance allowance of up to INR 1,200.

How to apply

Submit the application form online only.
Upload a passport-size photograph with the student's signature.
Provide academic certificates, diplomas, or mark sheets.
Submit a caste certificate signed by an authorized Revenue Officer (RO).
Provide an annual family income certificate. If self-employed, submit an income declaration via affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper.
For renewal, include the receipt acknowledging the scholarship from the previous year, if applicable.
