Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) with Specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) offered by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) provides students with a comprehensive education that merges fundamental computer science concepts with advanced AI applications. The curriculum encompasses core topics such as programming, data structures, algorithms, web development, and systems engineering, along with targeted studies in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.

This program typically follows a structured approach, where the first few semesters focus on core engineering principles and computer science fundamentals. As students progress, they delve deeper into AI-specific courses, engage in hands-on projects, and participate in internships that enable them to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. Students also have opportunities to work on interdisciplinary projects that involve AI applications in various fields such as healthcare, finance, and robotics.

By enrolling in this program, students not only gain technical skills but also develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovative capabilities. The vibrant environment of KIIT, located in a country known for its technological advancements, provides a stimulating backdrop for academic pursuit and professional growth. The collaboration with industry leaders enhances learning and opens new avenues for research and exploration in AI.

To gain admission into the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program, prospective students typically need to hold a high school diploma or equivalent qualification with a strong emphasis on mathematics, physics, and computer science. Applicants are expected to demonstrate a solid understanding of these subjects, which may be assessed through entrance examinations or standardized tests.

International students usually need to demonstrate proficiency in English through standardized tests such as IELTS or TOEFL. A minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS or 80 in TOEFL is generally expected, though these requirements can vary. It's advisable to check with the university for exact language proficiency standards.

International students seeking admission to KIIT will need to obtain a student visa to study in the country. This process will typically require proof of acceptance into the program, valid passport, and financial capability to support living and educational expenses. It is crucial for students to check the official government and university websites for specific visa application procedures and document requirements.
